Nnamdi Kanu’s wife attends Biafra remembrance event in Abia
- The Biafra remembrance event took place at Nkpor hall, 77 School Road, Aba, Opposite Christ the King Catholic Church
- According to Chukwuabiamanonso Obiora, it was organized to remember the abominable holocaust committed by Nigeria in collaboration with Britain in which Biafran children were starved to death
- The event was organized by Abia Writers in conjunction with the IPOB Abia state chapter, and opened to the public
Uchechi Okwu Kanu, the wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, received the red-carpet treatment as she attended a remembrance event for children who died during the Civil War.
The event was tagged ‘Abia State Children’s Conference and Remembrance of Our Starved Children’.

Meanwhile, according to Naija news media previously reported that the wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu said that her husband is obsessed with the agitation for the freedom of Biafra.
Uchechi Okwu Kanu in an interview, said her husband detests oppression and has always stood in defence of the oppressed.
She said: "He is a man that is obsessed with Biafra to the point of insanity and many times he has said publicly that he would gladly sacrifice me, the children and the wider family, if that is what it would take for Biafra to be free.”
