Abdullahi Wammako, a member of Nigeria's House of Representatives is dead.
His body has been taken to Sokoto for burial
Wamakko who represented Kware/Wammako federal constituency of Sokoto state died at the National hospital after a brief illness.
According to Premium Times, the spokesman of the House, Abdulrazak Namdas made this known.
“We just got the information that we lost Abdullahi Wammako from Sokoto,” Mr Namdas said.
Philipconcept Blog's learnt however that his body has been taken to Sokoto for burial.
According to Punch, House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara; Sokoto state Governor, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, and former Governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako were at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, when the corpse of Rep. Abdullahi Wamakko, who died on Friday, to Sokoto was being conveyed to Sokoto for Burial.

After the death of Isiaka Adeleke, a senator from Osun state, who died in April, Wammako becomes the second member of the National Assembly to die in three months.
Philipconcept Blog's reported that according to family sources, Adeleke suffered a heart attack and was rushed to Bikets Hospital where he passed away.
The senator who represented Osun West Senatorial district and is an uncle to popular singer, Davido, died at the age of 62.
The death of the Senator sparked a riot in his hometown as irate youths protested his demise claiming he was murdered by his political opponents.
