Speaker Yakubu Dogara has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s health has really improved.
Dogara spoke through Turaki Adamu Hassan, his special adviser on media and public affairs, shortly after a
photograph of him and Senate President Bukola Saraki with Buhari in London emerged.
Also tweeting through @Yakubdogara, his handle, the speaker said he was happy to see President Buhari in a lively mood and feeling healthy.
Philipconcept Blog's reports that Dogara pleaded with Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks for answered prayers for the safe return of the president.
“Today we visited His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari. I am glad that he is doing well.”
“His health has improved tremendously.
“I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks to God for answered prayers and for the safe return of Mr President,” Dogara said.
Philipconcept Blog's reported earlier that President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the chairman of the National Assembly, Bukola Saraki, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara in London.
Saraki, who is the president of the Senate, was pictured with Buhari and Dogara as they laughed while discussing.
A single statement by Femi Adesina, one of the spokespersons of Buhari, confirmed that Saraki and Dogara met with the president at the Abuja House London on 17th Aug 2017.
